Broken Tooth or Restoration
A broken tooth or restoration can cause sensitivity to hot or cold or discomfort to the cheek or tongue. During an emergency appointment, the dentist can temporarily restore the tooth to provide relief until a final restoration appointment is scheduled. Several options are available for the final restoration, which can be discussed with the dentist.

Ceramic Restoration, CEREC Technology
When a tooth is repeatedly filled over the years, the restoration becomes increasingly bulky, thereby weakening the tooth. At this stage, amalgam or composite fillings can no longer adequately withstand chewing forces and put the remaining tooth walls at risk of fractures. By offering better force distribution on the tooth, ceramic restorations help solidify the tooth in the long term.
CEREC technology allows for the restoration of a ceramic tooth in a single appointment. Once the tooth is prepared, a digital impression is made using the intraoral scanner, avoiding traditional impression materials. The images captured by the camera will appear on the computer screen, which will then prepare a model of the ceramic restoration that will rebuild the tooth. -
Implant
There are several solutions for replacing one or more missing teeth. One of them is to use dental implants instead of bridges or partial or complete dentures. Comfortable and natural-looking, implants are used to replace missing roots and to support artificial replacement teeth. What is a dental implant? A dental implant is an artificial root made of metal (titanium) that is inserted into the jaw to replace the root of a natural tooth.

Filling
Composite dental fillings are a common procedures used to treat cavities, chipped, cracked, or discolored teeth. During the filling process, the dentist begins by removing the decayed part of the tooth. Next, they apply the composite material in successive layers, curing each layer with a light. Fillings are durable, but their longevity depends on several factors, including dietary habits, oral hygiene, and other individual factors.
